Welcome to the 2012 Saline County Fair! We hope the weather cooperates because our amusement and exhibit venues offer plenty of variety to keep everyone entertained throughout the fair's six-day run July 17 to July 22. This year's theme is "Sew It, Grow It, Show It!".

The Saline County Fair has a deal for you in 2012 - the country band Highway 101 will be performing in concert on Friday, July 20 starting at8 p.m. in the Tuxedo Park Lakebed Amphitheater! Hear Top 10 hits like "Whiskey, If You Were A Woman," which topped out at No. 2; "Somewhere Tonight," "Cry, Cry, Cry" and "(Don't You Love Me) Just Say Yes," both of which were No. 1 hits in the U.S. and Canada. Hear Andy Gurley (guitar), Curtis Stone (bass guitar, mandolin), Nikki Nelson (vocals) and Scott "Cactus" Moser (drums) perform all those hits and more at the Lakebed Amphitheater July 20! Ticket prices for Highway 101 are $10 general admission IN ADVANCE, $15 at the gate. Tickets will be available beginning June 1 at locations around Saline County.

As you may have noticed, this Web page is a work in progress. Now that we have a presence on the Internet, this is where you will be able to find the basics about this year's fair, different entertainment, displays, shows, etc. We hope to be able to improve the website's content in the future and welcome your thoughts and ideas on how to accomplish that.

We have attempted to make the fair an enjoyable experience for fairgoers young and old and we believe that there is something for everyone to enjoy from the air-conditioned comfort of the Exhibit Building and the dusty Figure 8 racetrack to the best county fair rodeo in the area.

We sincerely encourage your participation in the 2012 Saline County Fair because if you do not attend and participate, this fair cannot be a success. We also welcome any suggestions and comments you may have about the fair. Every member of the Saline County Agricultural Society board is committed to serving the needs of all fairgoers.
